HORT suspension bushings (silent blocks) are designed to provide an elastic connection between suspension components and reduce the transfer of vibrations and impact loads to the vehicle body. This rubber-to-metal joint is used in control arms, subframes, reaction rods, and other assemblies, keeping parts in the correct position and allowing the suspension to absorb road irregularities without excessive noise or play. Worn bushings typically show up as knocking and squeaking, poorer handling, the vehicle pulling to one side, vibrations, and uneven tire wear. Therefore, during suspension diagnostics it is recommended to check their condition and replace them if cracking, tearing, or loss of elasticity is found.
