HORT constant velocity joints (CV joints) are designed to transmit torque from the gearbox to the driven wheels while operating at an angle and accommodating suspension travel. A CV joint provides smooth power transfer without jerks or vibrations during steering, acceleration, and driving on rough roads, helping maintain vehicle comfort and handling. CV joint wear most often shows up as a characteristic cracking/grinding noise when turning, clicking when starting off or accelerating, as well as vibrations and play - if these symptoms occur, driveshaft inspection and timely replacement of the joint are recommended to prevent damage to the axle shaft and related components.
