HORT driveshaft universal joints (U-joints) are designed to provide a flexible connection between driveshaft drivetrain components and reliable torque transmission while operating at angles. The U-joint is the main element of the universal joint assembly: it ensures the coaxial alignment of rotating transmission parts, reduces vibrations, and helps maintain smooth operation during acceleration and driving under load. As the driveshaft U-joint wears, play may develop, along with clicking/knocking noises when starting off and during shifting, as well as vibrations—in such cases, driveshaft diagnostics and timely replacement of the unit are recommended.
